The multi-functional capabilities of this Aerospace are derived from the Breitling B70, a thermocompensated high-accuracy SuperQuartz motion that may be a new addition to the Aerospace line (the present technology makes use of the B79 SuperQuartz). With COSC certification, the B70 seems to be largely much like the B79 apart from the doable omission of a backlight (that is but unconfirmed past the listed specs) and the power to run the chronograph to a second shy of 100 hours (vs. 48 hours for the B79). Aside from the capabilities, the opposite change with the B70 is the inclusion of two case-side pushers, presumably for controlling the numerous capabilities. Whereas I have not had any hands-on time with the brand new mannequin, it is a main departure from previous Aerospace fashions, which incorporates a single crown for controlling the digital issues and setting the watch.
